The Limited Series
I love a good limited series because I think it allows you greater depth into character and narrative than a movie does. There are certain economies that cannot be taken in a limited series that can be taken in an ongoing year-to-year series but there's something really wonderful about limited series. The most successful well-known ones even going back to roots and the Thornebirds and the Winds of War all came from IP. It doesn't mean you can't do an original it just means that having a really strong piece of IP that's known in the marketplace is a leg up. Find a big movie star who's really excited and telling that kind of story or find a big director who people
