How Has AI Technology Helped Dr. Singh?
An app called QXR.AI has trained its system on 3.7 million x-rays of people with tuberculosis. So you feed it the chest x-ray and then it reads it and tells you how likely that patient is to have tuberculosis. It's able to see signs of that possibly earlier than a human radiologist might catch it. And was this useful during the whole COVID pandemic? Yeah, exactly.
