This is a book that I've known about for a while but finally got around to kind of reading it cover to cover this year. Paul at no point in his ministry underwent a quote-unquote conversion away from Judaism and would have till the day he died if you asked Paul like kind of what are you  it's a very kind of modern anachronistic question to ask him. It wasn't merely a kind of change of religious commitment it was in every way a ethnic real an ethnic realignment so if you'll indulge me for a sec the preface for this book is just absolutely delightful.
