TICO - A History of the Company

Between 1963 and 1969, TICO went from having six figures of sales to more than $41 million. In 1974, they purchased the Simplex Wire and Cable Company for $22 million in cash. They also bought up automatic sprinkler company Grinnell after a controversial Supreme Court case. Dennis Kozlowski succeeded John F. Fort as their CEO in 1992.
