David's bridal filed for bankruptcy in April and said that they would have to close their doors if they can't find a buyer. In the filing, Chief Executive James Markham wrote that increasing number of brides are opting for less traditional wedding attire including thrift dresses. The weddings that we're going to see that are still very expensive are the ones that are hosted by very rich people or get Vogue write-ups.
