I've noticed how much he's changed over time in terms of kind of, you know, being less sure. He first got a job that was related to effective altruism in 2012. I'm amazed that it seems like we can't do basic things that we used to be able to do decades ago. Maybe I've also become more concerned about just general social decay or decline.
