How Exotic Data Can Produce Better Returns
I recently interviewed Michael Halsmore from Quantstart. He also spoke about that It just totally blew my mind. I mean while these these sorts of data sets like, you know as the example here satellite imagery sounds very sexy. Have these types of exotic data sets actually shown any sign of producing Significantly greater returns than more traditional data? But again, I'm not sure I believe that's the case and I was actually at a conference in Hong Kong put on by Macquarie bank,. which is from Australia.
