Is the Fed Funds Rate Going to Be 5.25%?
The Fed signaled earlier this week to expect an increase in that terminal rate. If the inflation forecast finally show up, if we get that.3 in core CPI next week, then I think 5.5 and a quarter will be the peak. There's a lot of opportunity there because we've done a tremendous amount of work pricing in the normalization,. The movement to restrictive policy that the Fed wants to be at is getting closer to being at.
