Can You Move More Rapidly to Do Translational Research?
It's hard to get funding for research that involves development on top of the empirical work. The other challenge is that these experiments are very long and they're very risky. So we had to restructure our lab model away from where everyone's coming in and leaving two years later or three years later into a lab where people look at it as a career position.
