A federal jury ordered Tesla to pay a former black contractor $137 million. The contractor claimed he was subjected to racial discrimination at work in 2015 and 2016.Tesla's vice president of People Valerie Capers Workman issued a statement when the jury decision was announced. She said, "We have come a long way from five years ago"
