The Importance of Home Culture in Academic Achievement

Home culture is everything, whether it's with regards to academic achievement or artistic achievement. You can go to an inner city home and I have done so, and I can tell you, it's abysmal. The kids are not getting any value, they're not being taught that there's a value of academic effort. Nobody is allowed to talk about those behavioral differences today in China.
