The Myth of Psychodynamic Therapy

People can have multiple different problems they could achieve a complete cure of anxiety or depression but they might still need some help in their relationships or with a habit or addiction. We really need a multitude of different tools to help them achieve optimal health and mental health. The part that I disagree with is the idea that psychodynamic therapy would be required for a long period of time. That's an old model of therapy and it's interesting how mythology can persist in our thinking even after there's been a revolution and radical improvement in the approach to treating disease.
