The Arab Courier Attacked by Lions by Jules Verea

Jules basley made one of his most famous mounted tableaux, entitled arab courier attacked by lions. It was on display at the paris exposition in 18 67 and more than 15 million spectators came just to see it. There have been rumors throughout the years that the man on the camel was an actual human but there has always been some suspicions.
