In the fall of 1947, Marilyn starts working the Hollywood Party Circuit. She was a no-name actress but she did her homework and understood how actors use the party scene to get coverage. The formula is simple: Who's who of celebrities gather in each other's houses? And if a celeb happened to drum up a little trouble and arrest a lover's quarrel, they get a couple extra lines of ink.
