Is It Getting Harder to Understand What's Going on in China?

It seems unlikely that, and indeed, looking at the directory of china's political system, it seems unlikely that they're oing to throw open the doors for foreign, barbarian researchers to come in and roam around the country. So i think people are making long term plans that don't involve china opening up right now. Andi got great, and there's so much going on. There's level of research there. But it means that fewer people are focusing on what's going on in china itself, which is a problem. We're not getting the same access and therefore able to ask some of the same questions.
