Dr. Tim Mackey: Mike means a lot to a lot of people, but he's meant a lot to me too. I remember first meeting him there and was just instantly fascinated with what Mike was fascinated with because that's just what he talks about. And so we had a lot of just shared interests in theology and he revival. But really the memory that's really vivid was his dissertation defense,. which was the first one I had ever seen in the department there.
