The Importance of Audience Values in Free Speech

We should have a freedom to be who we are and express ourselves in the way that we wish to. It's a basic right of humans to express themselves. I want to say that people have reasons, all kinds of reasons to want to be able to expresses themselves. An autonomy based view tends to focus on audience values. Insofaras autonomy refers to the interests we have in being able to form our own opinions about how to live, what to do, how to vote.
