Mangrove Restoration
The world bank considers mangrove restoration to not just include planting saplings, but growing livelihoods. Governments now have to be convinced that they can get more bang for their buck from protecting mangraves than by letting people cut them down. We came up with the value of 15 thousand dollars to 50 thousand per hectar per year of the values of mengrovs. That's a lot of money.
