The Line Between Journalism and Politics
The Times is going through this right now with a lot of internal criticism over its trans coverage. I do wonder about the line between the quote-unquote activist journalists, right? There's something of a generational divide to this where you hear it, like we're not advocates. But at the same time, things like framing, having a standard narrative, both sidesism, these are real problems that need to be addressed.
