Russia Today's Decision to Close Its Offices
Russia today is taking off broadcast and so on. And I'm often asked what I think about that, whether it was a good decision. Russia today have been working for 20 years and it has built its audiences. But the way how Russia today usually built this relation of trust is very peculiar. They just simulate, they replicate a particular argument without having actual ideological investment in it because this channel does not really have its ideology. It cares only of building what this trust creates in the audiences. If the audience already trusts you, it takes it as true, right? So it's all these decades basically work was sometimes just for a particular moment - maybe I'm just a little bit exaggerating here
