Leeram: It's good to get an advanced degree, but you get hit much harder with stats and these other things in your master's and doctorate. He says ML engineer builds on top of a lot of other building blocks that might be hard for someone just getting started to understand. Leeram: Building stuff is a good gateway to having to do stats. And that's a gateway to ML engineering. The right planning and the right design and architecture from the very beginning is crucial.
