When you're in big four, you don't realize how narrow your view is. You really feel the pulse of what's happening in the accounting community small to big when you're working at a tech company versus just a singular firm. I think that it takes a certain type of personality to go into the big four. But if you find your people and mesh with them, then it becomes almost like a family because you spend so much time together.
