The Potential Consequences of Intuition Research
A number of recent studies have provided reason to think that many published psychological results are not reproducible. And then a sixth and final worry is that many ordinary folk are when it comes to many philosophical topics, very confused. If we ignore all of these worries, or at least find adequate responses to them, X phi at least has the potential to support certain skeptical challenges to at least some kinds of intuition. It might reveal cases of significant widespread intuition conflict, perhaps both intrapersonal and interpersonal.
