The Strangest Location for a Tree to Cut Down
A group of hikers came upon three trees that had been cut down. On the top of each one of these stumps was a gigantic boulder. The rocks were resting on stomps which is an older method of marking trailheads, boundaries and summits. A turkey hunter in Yellowwood State Forest happened to look up into an oak tree and he saw a gigantic boulder wedged 40 feet up in the branches. It's become something of a local legend.
