The Last of Us Is a Perfect Idea for a Movie

I was thinking about this last night watching the Oscars and how a lot of these, not Art House, but more awards, fodder, movies, all get bunched up towards the end of the year. And I wonder whether or not the reason why people are responding to The Last of Us is because if you take something like it feels genre-y, and give it a lot of emotional depth, tell it in a pretty comprehensible, straightforward way without a lot of bullshit, people are gonna respond to it. Just the same way they did Maravise Town,. which all of those things in some shape or form might have been movies 30 years ago. TV is now fully become where all
