To What Degree Is Abolition of Zoning the Same?
Zoning reform is not likely to happen, given the politics of a land use in the us. I actually think that the popularity of zoning has been vastly overstated. i was just reading about some suburbs of atlanta where people were trying to incorporate and adopt a zoning cote but they failed. And then you look at a city like houston, the only major city that actually puts zoning to a city wide vote, voters have turned it down.
