The College Board Revises the African American Studies Curriculum

The college board, which writes the AP curriculum for states and then for the entire country, they created an African American studies curriculum. They said that they were piloting this in I think about 60 different schools across the country. The governor of Florida, Rhonda Santas and the department of Florida Education got hold of what was in the framework. It listed a number of topics that would be explored in this future curriculum. And some of it was about Black Lives Matter. Some ofIt was about reparations. More particularly, it was about people who are Black and queer.
