How to Analyze a Good Short Term Rental
The first thing you have to decide on is which metrics are important to you. Cap rate doesn't take into account your mortgage, but what it does allow you to do is quickly be able to say, okay, this one's a five cap versus thisOne's a 10 cap. For me, I think it's not to balance between the two. It's let's find something that can cash flow decently. Do you wanna be in an area that's got a really strong economic job growth, population growth? Or do you wanna really go for these kind of more up and coming vacation areas?"
