What Kind of Shift in Perspective Have You Experienced as an Independent Farmer?

I think the funny thing is even though I grew up in a farm, my parents were having race horses. So it wasn't really farming like food production in that sense. It's basically from that point until now that I've learned everything that I'm putting into action these days. As you pointed out earlier, I bought a herd of cattle, a small herd of 12 animals in October last year. That was like my small start. And now I've gotten, I've received the five calves the last two weeks, which is a pretty intense, pretty intense thing.
