Is Platforming a One-Way Street?

Rhetoric matters. Appearance matter, right? This is something that i think has to be built into and it's the same reason why, even in the language that i'm using around humanism, as opposed to, say, socialism or communism. The fear of platforming also is a very contemporary, social media specific thing to say, as if platforming is a one way street. But whether mediate events are productive, or whether the spectacle is worth it, is already a problem for feed brained moralist posters to figure out on their own time. So how about it?
