The Relationship Between Bills and Mortality
Some of the surviving bills we have can be traced back to Richard Smith. He probably subscribed because he's got such a continuous collection, but also seems to have felt they were worth keeping. There are a few things in which some of the weekly bills that he collected he's annotated. For example, in the week of the Great Fire, he's written something in his own handwriting. And what did his personal notations add to the information that we have? I suppose the most interesting thing is that somebody's interested in this and is engaging deeply and directly with the information they contain.
