The Gospel of Thomas

I don't think there's a single saying in the Gospel of Thomas where I look at it and go, gosh, I wonder if Jesus said that. All the sayings that seem most plausible as things that the historical Jesus said are things that have got parallels in the Synoptic Gospels. So that's where my problem lies on the historical Jesus one. It doesn't help for anything you did because it doesn't narrate you. You know, I would love it if it turned out that Thomas does have some sort of pipeline to the historical Jesus.
