How to Use Managed Identity in Azure Authentication
If you're communicating with a process that requires an X.59 certificate and obviously the private key, then you better make sure that that private key is locked down in some thing that uses a managed identity to access that particular credential. Make sure that the access that these accounts are using is the access that they need. Use number matching. Stay away from SMS. Turn on MFA. Is that it? Well, you think it would be that simple, wouldn't ya? And then you see attack after attack after attack.
