The book relates to ancestry, so I think that a more holistic picture of looking at how the ancestral currents are flowing through our lives in the modern world basically would be incomplete without exploring animism and magic. In some ways, it's interesting, because we have to use the word animism to describe something that I think lies underneath. It's one of the foundations of the human worldview. And then in some ways, I think that it should not hold too much prominence as an ism, because then it kind of almost puts it aside from the innate nature of being an animist animal,.
