In the book, i refer to my five s there as an apprenticeship. The initial apprenticeship really was being a copy boy, being a dictationist. And then when i was 19, they made me a reporter for the sumers. I would sit at night, especially if i was working a night shift, and i would take off the ik of the city editor.
