There was a study published in 20 19 by bjornson and colleges. It's titled type one muscle fiber fiber hypertrophy after blood flow restriction training in power lifters. The two groups were actually quite similar, except for one minor difference in terms of what they did. And i think the only thing that logically can make sense to me is that, yeah, heavy training recruits those slow switch fibers, but because their fatigue resistant, like a set of six or eight is not going to have a large training effect on them.
