A grim war is a point of magical history where in somebody is sharing a methodology and a method of ritual and magic. The trick to reading and utilizing grim wars is in the name. If you follow these rules, communication possible, if not, not possible is there a grim war. At least the ones that we really try to pay attention to isn't just a collection of spells. Some of them are, but for the most part they should have a methodology.
