Is There a Decoupling?
There's no data to indicate that i'm aware of, that te coupling is under way. Despite the talk of a trade war by the last american president and the tariffs, the share of total us. Imports that comes from china has only gone down marginally, by about three percentage points. And in fact, china shear of global exports has hit an all time historical record. So we need to find a way to work with china, to, i hate to use this word, because it's, it's scary in the united states. We need to engage with China.
