I've Lost So Much Fitness

A lot of people who take those little brakes, in forced or not, a tend to go piling back training because they feel they have to make up. You often hear alete saying, i've lost so much fitness. But as we've discovered now, that so much fitness is probably less than you think it is and you'll get it back in a shorter time than you think you will anyway. Plus, that rest period might actually be quite good for you, syologically, emotionally and physiologically. If you then make the mistake of trying to rush your way back to where you were before,. you almost instantly take away any benefit of refreshness and covert recovery.
