Network effect is a term used to describe different types of network effects. The word was popularised in the 1980s and 1990s by design firm unefects. Unefects now has its own blog called borough of network effacts. It's been around for more than three years, but there are still 13 'network offacts' that it hasn't published yet. How do you pick your favourite example? I'm looking for something counter atuitive or interesting to flesh out people's understanding.
