How to Use CRUD and REST APIs
Rails popularized REST, it popularized CRUD because of active record and whatnot. If you take a layer above HTTP and look at REST, for example, as a standard that uses the CRUD methods or actions with put and delete as well. These things can follow each other. And so for me, that's what it kind of harkens back to is when I think CRUD, I think cookie cutter stuff.
