Is Writing to SEO a Journalism or a Lifestyle Blog an Advantage?

I was a magazine editor, but before that I worked for newspapers. For me, a travel blog is someone puts a question into Google and they most likely kind of go on their merry way. So I don't really necessarily see myself as a storyteller in that sense where I think that's pretty much what a journalist would do. Writing fast is 100% an advantage, but it's not a be all end all kind of thing that I had a background in journalism.
