Chusic spent a lot of time with his cinemotographer, joe anderson, just sort of staring at performance films. They found that whenever we were watching comedy performance, it was always from the perspective of the audience. So they thought if the camera was hand held, on steady cam, and it was acting as one of the performers in the improve then as an audience member, we would feel like we were in the scenes with the with the improvisers,.
