Was There Any Attempt to Denotsufy Sparta?
I haven't mysel come across anything that's sort of explicitly tries to denotsufy sparta. I mean, definitely they did things like abolishing prussia as state,. you could say that idea of prussian militarism as is very much bound up with the spartan militaristic ideology. And then i think a lot of people, again, as we were talking about disillusionment, towards the end of the war, there was a sense in which people just kind of, ok, we're done with this. We want to get on with our lives now and we're gaing to kind of forget that we but we even had any ideas about sparta.
