The Origins of Desire
In Christianity there would be an idea of divine love or perfect love, which we don't normally achieve at all perhaps. Because if I'm not jealous, I won't be jealous. There is no sense of attachment to another person, which means lack of love. Why are we attached to anything? Attached? If I'm attached to this house? Yes, I would take a different view, I think, of the notion of desire.
