The Effect of Reshuffles on Ministers' Longevity
We published a report last week on reshuffles as they relate to general elections. We looked at when reshuffles had taken place prior to general elections and what that then meant for the longevity of ministers in role after general elections if they got the same job. The longer beforehand you've been shadowing a role or in a role that's been a very straightforward general election means the longer you stay there after which is just something I think that both star and soon I need to be thinking about.
