Data Is a Toxic Acid
Author argues that privacy is not just a personal choice, it's also a political one. If we give too much of our data to governments then we risk sliding into authoritarianism. We can only maintain a healthy and strong democracy if the bulk of power stays with citizens. Every piece of personal data is a potential leak, a potential lawsuit. Data is toxic for institutions, and especially toxic for society.
