A former basketball player himself, he not only supports the Federation's ban on the hijab, he wants it enshrined in law. Spots of grounds during competitions need to be neutral spaces - we cannot have young women playing in sports competitions wearing an Edskelf. This is France, and we have a strong definition of secularism.
