The Sermon on the Mount Was Intended for the Disciples

We need to understand who the Sermon on the Mount was intended for. The means by which Jesus expands his kingdom is through his people that gather around him. You and I are the conduits by which we have to ask the question, are our lives so oriented around Jesus that others are drawn to that reality? Is Jesus being lifted up in our community? If Jesus is lifted up, then we can trust that he will draw people to himself through us.
