The Origins of the OTO
Crowley composed a ceremony referred to as the Gnostic Mass in 1913. Crowley took over the OTO at that point which he had been leading in the USA for some time. The Hermetic Order of the Golden Dawn became the single most influential organization in magic in the 20th century, according to some anyway. Much of modern Wicca carries elements of the practices of theGolden Dawn within it.
